Baird Bay Seaside Villas – Selkie and Eko – offer a retreat unlike any other. Thoughtfully designed and immersed in the wild beauty of South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, these two self-contained villas – a four-bedroom, two-storey villa and a three-bedroom, single-storey villa – are ideal for families, friends, or fishing groups seeking a comfortable, private base to explore the coast.

Inside, a neutral, textured palette of seagrass, linen, and timber creates a calming atmosphere that invites you to unwind. Local Indigenous artworks and handcrafted details add a strong sense of place, reflecting the rugged character and natural charm of the region.

Guests are free to shape their own stay, whether that means casting a line from the shore, launching a boat for a day of fishing, or simply enjoying the peaceful rhythms of life by the bay. From October to April, ocean tours are also available for those wanting to swim with wild sea lions and dolphins – an unforgettable experience unique to this part of the world.

We’re pleased to share that Baird Bay is fortunately unaffected by the recent algal bloom affecting other parts of South Australia. Our waters remain pristine and healthy, with guests continuing to enjoy incredible, up-close encounters with wild sea lions and dolphins.

We’re actively monitoring the situation with local authorities and remain committed to the highest standards of safety and environmental care. Most importantly, we’re open, operating as normal, and ready to welcome you to the water.
