E-Mountain Bike Adventure
Explore the raw beauty of Baird Bay on two wheels with our guided e-mountain bike adventure. Ride across private land to the towering sea cliffs of Cape Radstock— the highest point on the Great Australian Bight—before descending to the mouth of the bay. From there, hike along the shoreline to meet your kayaks and paddle across the water, returning to the villas by sea.

Swim with Wild Sea Lions & Dolphins
Embark on a half-day intimate tour for the opportunity to interact with some of the most intelligent marine mammals on earth, in their home, at their invitation. Swim with wild sea lions and dolphins in the safe and shallow waters of Baird Bay. Begin at Jones Island, the natural home and habitat of our sea lion friends. Join their aquatic playtime in the calm and protected rockpools surrounding their home. Boma Dining Experience
An interactive fireside dining experience crafted by our in-house private chef that promises a sensory journey under the stars. Centred around the primal allure of a crackling fire, this dining adventure showcases locally sourced, native ingredients in dishes that are unique to our region. Surfing and Beach Picnic Lunch
An excursion that begins with a visit to Sceale Bay, where between November and May, guests can participate in a surf lesson with a local surf expert.
Out of the surf, explore the surrounding coastline, watch the surf pros in action. Enjoy some time on the sand and finish with a casual beach picnic lunch.

Westall Way Loop Drive
Journey along the Eyre Peninsula’s Westall Way Loop. Start with a snorkelling session at Smooth Pools, where you can spot the world’s smallest sea stars, endemic to this region.

Nature Walk

Or head further afield aboard a private charter, to fish within the bay. There is also the opportunity to anchor up and wild harvest abalone and crayfish. Head back ashore for a waterside cook-up as your private chef prepares the catch of the day, while pelicans wait patiently nearby for a share of the feast.

Baird Bay Headland Tour
Embark on a captivating journey around Baird Bay and the surrounding peninsula, guided through both stunning natural landscapes and the local community’s daily life. Begin your adventure at Point Labbatt Conservation Park, perched atop the dramatic cliffs of the Great Australian Bight. Here, you can observe Australian sea lions and long nose fur seals frolicking in natural rock pools below, while raptors soar overhead and the dark waves of the Southern Ocean relentlessly sculpt the coastline.
Venture inland through nearby farmland, offering a glimpse into the main industry of the locals and an opportunity to spot reptiles and large macropods, especially active during the late afternoon. Choose from a range of scenic flight options that provide an aerial view of the Eyre Peninsula and its rugged coastline. In winter, fly over Fowlers Bay to witness the largest gathering of southern wright whales in Australia or head inland to view the red expanse of the outback and the mesmerising salt lake, Lake Gardiner.

Whale Watching (seaonal)
Between May and September, Fowlers Bay, a three hour and 15-minute drive from Baird Bay, hosts the largest gathering of southern wright whales in Australia. Head out on to the water to view these gentle giants in close range.

Port Lincoln Regional Tour

Giant Cuttlefish Annual Aggregation (seasonal)
Each year from May to August, Whyalla (4-hour drive from Baird Bay) hosts an incredible natural spectacle: the aggregation of giant cuttlefish. These vibrant creatures converge in their hundreds to form the largest aggregation in the world, providing a unique and mesmerising underwater display that attracts divers and marine enthusiasts from around the world. Dive, snorkel or tour on a glass bottom boat to witness these phenomenally beautiful creatures in large numbers.

Gawler Ranges Wilderness Safari
